Samantha Dakin (Actor)

Born and raised in Northern California, Samantha moved to London in 2006 to study at Drama Centre London. Roles played whilst training include The Girl in The Hot L Baltimore, Mary in Rutherford and Son, Emilia in Emilia Galotti, and Clara in Paradise Lost.
Since graduating last year, her work has included Absent (dreamthinkspeak’s critically acclaimed installation for the Ignite Festival at the Royal Opera House); Ben Judd’s Observance (PS Gallery, Amsterdam); The Wingman by Sophie Nurse (screening at Curzon Soho this summer); and extensive TV voiceover work.
Stage credits in the US include Charlotte Goodall in The Night of The Iguana (SCRT, California), and Romaine Patterson in The Laramie Project (The Renegade Players), for which she received a Special Award of Gratitude from anti-homophobia organization Positive Images.
